Tombstone of Alexander and Edward Karnicki

Burial place marked by a stele tapering upwards in a band. In the upper part of the stele inscribed with a Greek cross, below originally three tablets. On the upper tablet an unpreserved bas-relief, below an engraved inscription.

Additional information:

According to Wacław Wejtka's file, the gravestone was originally in the form of a wooden cross with a tin plaque bearing the inscription: S + P / Aleksander / Karnicki / Profesor. Dr. of Medicine / Director of the State School / Obstetrics / Died. School / Obstetrics / Died on 16/XI 1935 / at the age of 63. / Peace to His Soul //. The corpse was moved, from the catacombs, to its present location in 1936.
