Tombstone of Anna and Wawrzyniec Dudar

Kokutkowce | Ukraine

The burial site marked by a sculptural group on a two-stepped plinth and a three-stepped base. The sculptural group consists of a cross and two figures of saints. Cross on its own plinth, with gabled arms. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of the crucified Christ, above a titulus. To the right at the base of the cross is a figure of St John with a cross and palm branch in his right hand. To the left a female figure (Mother of God?) in long robes, with a veil on her head, with her right hand folded on her breast, in her left hand she holds a book. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. The second step of the plinth enclosed by wider moulded panels passing into a hipped canopy. On the front a panel with an engraved inscription. On the other sides engraved frames with quarter-circle chamfered corners.
