St Michael's Cemetery in Riga

Burial place marked by a stele on a base with a band in front. On the stele, a cross engraved on the polished face, two oval panels with photographs. On the left, a portrait of a woman, shown in bust, in ¾ view to the right, her head slightly to the right, her gaze directed at the viewer. She is dressed in an outfit with a triangular neckline with piping. Short hair visible. To the right, portrait of a man, shown in bust, facing slightly left. He is wearing a uniform jacket. Short hair, parted, moustache visible. Both photographs signed at the bottom right: V. Ivanov. Rigā //.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
