Tombstone of Antoni Berezowski

Uroczysko Czerwone | Ukraine

Burial site originally marked by a statue of St Anthony on a plinth and two-stage base. Tombstone overturned, dismembered. Statue on its own base. Saint Anthony depicted frontally, holding the infant Jesus on his right arm. He is depicted wearing a monastic habit tied at the waist, from under which his bare feet protrude. The plinth is covered by a wider, moulded panel. An engraved inscription to the front.
