Tombstone of Bartholomew Chabza

Soborne | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a two-stage plinth with a two-stage base. Straight chamfered cross on its own plinth with base. Plinth with chamfered upper edges. At the intersection of the arms of the cross a figure of the crucified Christ, above him a titulus. The steps of the pedestal are gorged on the sides and framed with baton. The first step of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges. The second step of the pedestal transitions to a triangular finial at the top from the front and the back. The front side bears an engraved inscription. On the right side in the panel a bas-relief depicting the martyr Bartholomew in antique robes. In his hands he holds a palm branch leaning against the left frame. On the left side a panel with an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary in antique robes. Hands crossed at breast level.

Inscription:
