Tombstone of Basil Kuciuruba

Zbaraż | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a two-stepped plinth and two-stepped base. Cross with chamfered edges, on its own moulded plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief carved figure of the Crucified Christ, above which a titulus, below which a skull with tibias. The second step of the base with chamfered upper edges. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. Second step high, terminating in a hipped roof under which moulding. On the front an engraved inscription.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu zbaraskiego rozpoczęta została w roku 2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Ze względu na pandemię COViD, a następnie działania wojenne prace od roku 2020 zostały wstrzymane. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i w formie kart inwentaryzacyjnych w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
