Tombstone of Dorothea H[errich]

Zaleszczyki | Ukraine
Burial site originally marked by a cross on a plinth and two-stage base. Cross on moulded plinth, perpetuated, lies beside gravestone. Second step of base with lesbian kimation. Plinth covered by a wider moulded panel with Ionic kimation. On the front a panel enclosed by a full overhanging arch with a ritual inscription (1). On three sides of the panel, in the rear a ritual inscription (2).

(1) Hier ruhet / Dorothea H[errich] / geborene Pruffer / gestorben. den 23= Okt: 861: im. 76 / Lebensjahr. //.
Was Gottt [...]nl / getiian / greit[...]rs uns auch / [...]re Haft an / dul[...] der Chri / sti [...] e flicht / drum liebe nimt cur buh / des Vaters Segen / noch dacu / ewit[...] der t[...] / ja //.
