Tombstone of Franciszka Piotrowska

Soborne | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a statue on its own base and a two-stage pedestal with base. The statue of Immaculata in antique stucco. She is clad in a long unbuttoned cloak fastened below the neck, girded with a decorative belt. Her hair is loose falling down her back. She is standing on the moon and trampling a serpent. The base of the figure is circular, becoming square at the bottom. The base is bevelled at the top. The first step of the pedestal also with chamfered upper edges, on the front a panel framed at the corners with quarter roundels with an engraved inscription. The other sides glazed framed with baton-forming. The second step of the pedestal surmounted by a beam, with an engraved cross to the front.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2017-2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w książce "Cmentarze dawnego powiatu tarnopolskiego", t. 1 i 2, pod red. A. S. Czyż i B. Gutowskiego, Warszawa 2017-2019 roku. Karty inwentaryzacyjne opublikowane zostały w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
