Cemetery in Kozovka

Burial place marked by a statue on a two-tier plinth and two-tier base. Statue of saint on his own base, with undulating priestly robe, beard and in long hair, mitre on head. In the left hand a cross and the right hand in a gesture of blessing. The first step of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges, a panel with chamfered semicircular corners to the front, analogous glazed panels to the right and left. The second step of the pedestal with simplified beam, consisting of architrave and cornice, covered with a wider panel, on the front in the panel an engraved inscription. On the right, a bas-relief figure of Immaculata with long hair and outspread hands, wearing a long ruffled gown and cloak. On the left a relief group of figures, St Joseph with the Child in his right hand, holding a staff in his left. Wearing long undulating robe, short hair, with beard. Child dressed in a long robe.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
