Tombstone of Joseph and Catherine Bednarski

Łozowa | Ukraine

Burial site marked by a statue of St Catherine on a two-stage plinth and two-stage base. Statue on its own base. Saint in slight contrapposto, wearing long robes and open crown. With her left hand supported by a sword, with her right hand she presses a book to her breast. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. Second step of plinth enclosed by wider moulded panels passing into a hipped canopy. On the front an engraved inscription.
