Tombstone of Maria and Tomasz Tarnawski

Burial site originally marked by a cast-iron cross on a two-stage plinth and base. Cross perpetuated at base where openwork neo-Gothic chapel. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. Second step of plinth with plain frieze, moulding transitions to panel with acroterions and pinnacles. To the front and rear panels with chamfered quarter circular corners. In them respectively relief carved figures of Mary and St John of Nepomuk. On the left an analogous frame is carved, on the right a moulded panel with chamfered upper corners, in which is an engraved inscription.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
