Tombstone of Maria Krzyszowska

Monasterzyska | Ukraine
Burial place marked by cross on two-stepped plinth and two-stepped base. Cross on plinth. Over the arms a ribbon in relief with a knot on the right. On the first step of the pedestal on the front an engraved inscription. The second step of the pedestal in profile transitions to a hipped canopy, with suspended serrations. On three sides engraved frames with quarter-circle chamfered corners. On the front, a niche closed with an overhanging pointed arch framed by pea-shaped triangles. In it a relief figure of the Virgin Mary in a slightly undulating mantle, with her hands folded in a prayer gesture.

Inscription:

TU / SPOCZYWA / MARYA / KRZYSZOWSKA / * 24/8 1882 + 11/2 1900 PROSI / O MODLITWY CHWAŁA OJCU / SYNOWI I DUCHOWI [Ś]WIETEM //.
