Tombstone of Mary Swirska

Kokutkowce | Ukraine

Burial site marked by a statue of Immaculata on a two-stepped base and two-stepped plinth. The statue on its own low base, composed frontally in counterpoint with her head bowed, clad in antique undulating robes with her arms folded across her chest, her bare feet trampling a serpent on a globe. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. Second step of plinth higher with simplified beam covered by wider moulded panel chamfered hipped on top. In front a rectangular panel with quarter-circle chamfered corners, in which an engraved inscription. The other three sides have similarly carved frames.
