Tombstone of Maurice Pawlus

Burial site marked by obelisk on plinth and three-tier base. Obelisk on its own base with moulded upper edges. On the obelisk, on the front, a bas-relief cross framed in the lower part by oak leaves tied with a ribbon, with an engraved inscription below. The first step of the base much deeper than the others. The second and third steps of the base glazed. The plinth with chamfered upper edges.

Inscription:

Ś. p. / MAURYCY / PAWLUS / zmarł dnia 27 –III 1925 / przeżywszy lat 72 / Pokój Jego duszy! //.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu zbaraskiego rozpoczęta została w roku 2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Ze względu na pandemię COViD, a następnie działania wojenne prace od roku 2020 zostały wstrzymane. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i w formie kart inwentaryzacyjnych w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
