Burial site originally marked by a statue of Michael the Archangel on a two-stage plinth and base. The statue on its own base, forfeited, lies nearby. The figure is dressed in ancient Roman battle dress, with his left hand folded over his chest, in his right hand a fiery sword with which he presses a representation of Lucifer against the base. Lucifer depicted as a hybrid with the head of a man with horns on his head and the torso of an animal with a tail. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. The second step of the plinth surmounted by a stylised triglyph-metopic frieze, above which moulding with Ionic cymation above which a wider panel. On the front a panel with quarter-circle chamfered corners, in which an engraved inscription. On the other sides an engraved frame with quarter-circle chamfered corners.
