Tombstone of Mikołaj Kochański

Nowosiółka | Ukraine
Burial site marked by a cross stylised as a tree trunk, on a two-stage plinth in the form of a brick wall and base. The cross on a moulded plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief carved figure of Christ, above a titulus. The first step of the plinth with moulded upper edges. On the front a panel with quarter-circle chamfered upper corners. In it an engraved inscription. The second step of the pedestal with chamfered top and side edges. On the front a glazed niche closed with a segmental arch. In the niche there is a relief of St. Nicolas. The figure is portrayed frontally, up to his waist, dressed as a bishop, holding a scroll in his left hand in a blessing gesture.
