Tombstone of Pavel Orlinski

Myszkowice | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a statue on its own base, a two-stage plinth and a three-stage base. Statue of St Paul with beard, wearing antique robes. The saint holds in his right hand a sword pointing with the blade downwards, the handle stylised with volutes, in his left hand a closed book. Second and third steps of base rusticated, framed. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. The second is surmounted by a beam with a raised segmental arch, on the front an engraved inscription framed by an engraved frame closed with a full arch. Both steps of the plinth stylised as a pile of stones, the gaps between them fluted, the boulders glazed.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
