Tombstone of Piotr Pieniekowski

Draganówka | Ukraine

The burial place marked by a statue of St Peter on its own base, a two-tier plinth and a two-tier base. The saint on the right holds a book and keys with both hands. St Peter shown wearing an antique tunic tied at the waist and wearing a draped cloak, the corner of which is slung over his right forearm. The steps of the base decorated with a baton frame filled with grosgrain. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges, the sides decorated with a baton frame filled with glazing. The second step of the pedestal surmounted by moulding, an engraved inscription to the front, the other sides decorated with a baton frame filled with glazing.

The statue lies to the left of the gravestone, St Peter's head missing.
