Tombstone of Piotr Stoch

The burial place marked by a slanted slab on a glazed base, where an engraved signature (2) is to the front, in the upper right-hand corner. The slab in the form of a volute, raised at the headboard. The sides decorated with a motif of dry acanthus and poppy flowers. Above, a relief inscription panel closed with a flattened arch, on which is an engraved inscription (1). Above, a relief carved cross. The whole is enclosed by a cast-iron fence.

1) R.I.P. / PIOTR STOCH / Starszy Komisarz Skarbu / ur. 28.V. 1859. w Jaśle / um. 6.IV. 1905. w Tarnopolu / -.- / Pokój jego Duszy. / -.- / Powstan [...]ie, gdy mnie będziesz budził. / Lecz dozwól spoczywać bom się bardzo strudził. / -.- / W dowód pamięci bolejąca żona z dziećmi / Najdroższemu mężowi i ojcu. //. 2) W. ZACHARA //.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2017-2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w książce "Cmentarze dawnego powiatu tarnopolskiego", t. 1 i 2, pod red. A. S. Czyż i B. Gutowskiego, Warszawa 2017-2019 roku. Karty inwentaryzacyjne opublikowane zostały w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
