Tombstone of Rafał Radziwiłłowicz

Vilnius | Lithuania

The burial place is marked by a two-stage gravestone with a stele at its base. The stele is framed by two cuboids, the top 3/4 high with triangular cut side edges. On the front there is an oval bronze medallion showing a portrait of a man with a moustache in 3/4 view, on the right there is a signature on a shirt collar. Below the portrait an engraved inscription. On the first step of the tombstone in the lower left corner a signature. On the second step of the slab an engraved inscription.

Additional information:

According to the file of Lucjan Uziębła, the front of the stele contained a bronze cast of the bust of the deceased made in 1931 by J. Gardecki of Warsaw. The tombstone, on the other hand, was said to be the work of R. Bikner.
