Tombstone of the Kowalewski family

Vilnius | Lithuania
Burial site originally marked by a cross on a four-stepped plinth and base. Cross perpetuated at base, on plinth. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. Second step of plinth with moulded upper edges, chiselled on sides. On the front, engraved inscription (1). The third step of the pedestal with profiled upper edges. The fourth step of the pedestal high, slightly tapering towards the top, closed with a gable, framed by a profiled band. On the front there is an engraved inscription (2). The whole is enclosed by a fence consisting of a band and cuboidal pedestals connected with a cast iron chain. In front of the tombstone a rhomboidal flowerbed.
