According to Lucjan Uziębła's file, there was a brass plaque by the gravestone with the inscription: To the unforgettable heroic commander / in tribute / 81st Grodno Rifle Regiment //. On this basis, it can be assumed that the present form of the tombstone comes from a later period, probably the 2nd half of the 1930s. In 1915, he received an officer's patent of the Russian army, in 1918 he was admitted to the Polish Army, in 1919 he attended the First Course of the Military School of the General Staff in Warsaw. In 1920 he was promoted to second lieutenant, and from October 1920 commanded a Grodno rifle regiment. He fell on November 19, 1920 in the village of Matvińce, situated by the Szyrwinta River. He was posthumously promoted to the rank of colonel. Decorations Silver Cross of the Military Order of Virtuti Militari Cross of Merit of the Army of Central Lithuania - posthumously (1926)
