Tombstone of Stefan Nimczakowski

Opryłowce | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a statue of St Stephen on a two-stage plinth and three-stage base. Statue of the saint on his own plinth. Dressed in tunic, dalmatic and pallium. In his left hand he holds a palm tree in his right hand holding stones. The first step of the pedestal with moulded upper edges, an engraved inscription to the front. The second step of the pedestal finished with a simplified beam covered with a hipped roof. At the front, in a niche, a relief figure of an angel in a long tunic. In his right hand he holds a palm tree on his chest in his left hand.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu zbaraskiego rozpoczęta została w roku 2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Ze względu na pandemię COViD, a następnie działania wojenne prace od roku 2020 zostały wstrzymane. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i w formie kart inwentaryzacyjnych w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
