Additional information:

In 2004, on the initiative of the Main Board of the Union of Poles in Lithuania, the tombstone was renovated. Probably at that time a plaque and a cross were created. According to a plan of the cemetery from the turn of the 1950s/60s, as well as on the basis of a photograph (photo 75) found in a publication by Edmund Małachowicz, Cmentarz na Rosie in Vilnius, Warsaw 1993, it can be determined that the tombstone originally had the form of a cast-iron cross made of cast-iron pipes placed on a low pedestal and preceded by a rhomboidal flowerbed. A fence has survived from the original gravestone. Sniezko describes the gravestone as a wooden cross with a plaque bearing the inscription: the late / Wacław Michał / Dziewulski / prof. U.S.B. / born on 29.IX.1882 in Warsaw / died on 10.VIII.1928 //.
