Tombstone of Zygmunt Sobczak

Burakówka | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a two-stage plinth and base. Cross with arms ending in the carving of a cataract arch, wider at the lower end, on a plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief carved figure of Christ, above a titulus. On the base at the front, a plaque with quarter-circular chamfered corners, with an engraved inscription. The first step of the plinth with moulded upper edges. Second step of plinth with simplified beam consisting of architrave and cornice, covered by hipped roof. On the front a carved frame enclosed by a solid arch into which is inscribed an overhanging pointed arch framed by pea-shaped triangles.
