The article provides information about the Polish theatre in Lviv, which owes its home to Count Stanislaw Skarbek. According to the article, he was to devote his entire fortune to the upkeep of the home for orphans and the poor, and these assets were closely linked to the Lviv theatre. The text also indicates the financial settlement between the theatre and the orphans' home, the differences between the upkeep of the Polish and German theatres, as well as artistic issues and the actors' conflicts with Skarbek himself.
