Opposite the Gallery of Modern Art, surrounded by monuments to great writers, is a statue of Henryk Sienkiewicz. The Polish writer holds the laurel wreath with which he was honoured by the Nobel Academy in 1905. At the bottom of the monument is the inscription: "Quo Vadis Domine".
Another Polish accent in the park is the street named after Adam Mickiewicz (Viale Adamo Mickievicz).
