Votive Monument to Basil and Ksenia Smakula

Доброво́ди | Ukraine

Votive cross on pillar and base. Cross with arms terminating in caps with spheres on a wider splayed pedestal, where a carved skull with tibias is carved on the front. At the intersection of the arms a relief carved figure of Christ, above a titulus. Secondary stone base with a diagonally positioned pillar on it. Pillar base with moulded upper edges. Panels on four sides, in the front one an engraved inscription(1). Pillar with simplified beam consisting of cornice, cannelled frieze and Ionic kimatation, in front an engraved inscription(2).
