Biography:

Ryszard Piotrowski (1952-) is a Polish sculptor and illustrator.

His work focuses on intimate art forms of small size, mainly marble, bronze and silver. He has a specialisation in the repoussing technique. During the 1970s and 1980s, his interests included portrait sculpture, monumental sculpture and land-art. He took part in the 1979 Dantesco Biennale in Italy and the 1981 Zachęta Art Festival. He participates in both group and individual exhibitions, maintaining a permanent collaboration with Katarzyna Napiórkowska's Art Gallery.
