Graves of Poles from World War II at Trompet Cemetery

In the Trompet Cemetery in the Rheinhausen district of Duisburg (North Rhine-Westphalia) there are two grave quarters of foreign war victims, mainly forced labourers and children. Twenty-six Polish citizens are buried here.
In 2020-2021, the Polish-German Reconciliation Foundation, as part of a task supported by the "Places of National Remembrance Abroad" Programme of the Minister, compiled data on the buried persons and made it available, together with a description of the cemetery, on the website of the project "Polish memorials and war graves in Germany": https://polskiegroby.pl/cmentarz.php?jez=pl&cmentarzok=1188&miejsceok=1151&landok=10.
