Graves of Poles who died in exile

Between 1940 and 1946, Poles who had been deported by the NKVD stayed here. At that time, the village was called Pokrovskoye. About 10 Polish graves have been preserved from the war period in the local cemetery.
In 2007, on the initiative of Irena Butoki, who lives in Poland, a cross was placed in the cemetery in memory of her mother and other Poles who died in Kuibyshev. On one of the plaques at the foot of the cross is engraved the inscription: "In memory of my beloved mother Anna Kosice and the Polish exiles buried in this cemetery between 1941 and 1946, to preserve from oblivion. Daughters: Ewelina and Irena". The second plaque under the cross included the names of those who died here, remembered by Ms Irena: "Anna Koszyc - 38 years old, Regina Czartkiewicz - 9 years old, Zuzanna Czarkiewicz - 3 years old, Jadwiga Czartkiewicz - 3 years old, Czartkiewicz - 80 years old, Franciszek Mieszkowski - 35 years old, young men Stanislaw and Marysia from the Arciuchow family".
