The history of St Michael's Church in Tywrovo dates back to 1742, when Jan Kaletanski founded a brick church to replace a 16th-century wooden one that was burnt down during the Khmelnytsky uprising. From the mid-18th century until 1833, the church was cared for by Dominicans brought from Vinnitsa. In 2018-2019, research and conservation work was carried out on the 19th-century image of Our Lady of Tyvrovsk.
