Cemetery in Český Těšín

Burial site marked by a tapering stele, covered by a wider horizontal beam with a chamfered right-hand corner, on a double plinth and base. In front of it a single horizontal slab on base. The central part of the stele chrysalised. In its upper part a rectangular panel with a bas-relief (covered in secondary grey paint) with the figure of Christ shown up to his shoulders and head in profile, carrying a cross. Below this an engraved inscription (1). Cd. inscription on first step of plinth (2). There, in the lower right corner, the signature of the stonemason's workshop.

1. Śliwka / JAN ANNA / Kasparek / FRANZ / MARIE //.

2. Jak błogo w pokoju u Pana tam być / Gdzie śmierci łez, nie ma jak błogo z nim żyć. //.

2nd quarter of the 20th century.
