The Bertel Thorvaldsen Museum in Copenhagen houses a plaster cast of a statue of Prince Joseph Poniatowski, which was created in 1826. Right next door, in the same museum, one can admire a plaster cast model of a statue of Nicolaus Copernicus, also by Thorvaldsen (1830). Both of these monuments have their permanent place on Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw.
