Biography:

Stefania Ordyńska-Morawska (1882-1968) was a Polish painter active in France, Poland and Italy. She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Between 1908 and 1910, she supplemented her education in Rome and Florence. From 1910, she lived in Paris, from where she travelled to Rákoskeresztúr (1916), Lausanne (1917) or Brno (1919). The years 1939-1947 were spent in Poland. From 1947 to 1962 she again resided in Paris.
