Variants of the name:
Rzeźby na fasadzie byłego ratusza w Halle przedstawiające personifikacje Prawdy i Sprawiedliwości

The sculptures on the façade of the former Halle Town Hall, depicting the personifications of Truth and Justice, were created in the second half of the 19th century. Their author was Cyprian Godebski. The sculptures, made by him, replaced older sculptures chiseled by Frans Duquesnoy. Godebski made his sculptures from white stone (Carrara marble). They have a height of about 80 centimetres each. They were placed in a niche in the façade of the Town Hall, each on a small pedestal, on either side of a window. Truth and Justice are wearing long robes (modelled on ancient Greek costume). Both are set in counterpoint. The sculptures are an important part of the Town Hall's decoration, symbolically emphasising the values that should guide public administration employees.
