Adam Kacper Teofil Gerlicz (1835-1861), born in Ręczajy, son of Jakub Gerlicz (1792-1872), vice-president of Warsaw during the November Rising, and Wincentyna Górska (1813-1852).

He died on 24 February 1861 in Hyères. In the last weeks of his life, he was cared for by his aunt Konstancja Górska, his mother's sister, who accompanied him in his illness from January 1861 until his death.

Adam's father, Jakub Gerlicz, is buried in the Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw (cemetery section 25, row 1, grave 16)
