Biography:

Adelaida Dziekońska (1794-1848), daughter of Filip Nereusz Olizar-Wołczkiewicz and Ludwika Niemirowicz-Szczytt. She died on 8 November 1848 in Paris. She was married twice: first to Count Konstanty Przeździecki and then to Karol Dziekoński, heir to an estate in Podolia. From her first marriage, she had a son, Aleksander Przeździecki, an eminent writer and historian.

Adelaide was first laid to rest in the Bizard crypt, and on 2 December 1848 she was moved to the Père-Lachaise cemetery (section Q). Her death was widely echoed by family and friends, and the news of her passing was also reported in the national press ('Kurier Warszawski' No. 311 of 21 November 1849).
