Cemetery in Starý Oleksiniec

The Catholic cemetery in Stary Oleksiniec is adjacent to the Orthodox cemetery. According to Zbigniew Hauser, this cemetery is heavily overgrown, in a state of devastation - only a few tombstones (whitewashed) have survived.Only one tombstone has an inscription and from it it can be read that Antoni Olejnik was buried here. Unfortunately no date is available.

In the centre of the cemetery is a relatively well-preserved classicist chapel with a portal with a triangular gable in a niche topped by a semicircular arch. Based on it, the origins of the cemetery can be thought to date back to the early 19th century. Surrounding the chapel are a number of scattered statues in residual condition probably from other gravestones or the interior of the chapel, including St. John of Nepomuk (without head) and St. Francis. To the right of the chapel, against the wall, stands a stone baptismal font.
