Multi-faith cemetery in Nemirov

Located in the western part of the township, the cemetery is still active and thus maintained to a good degree, although some of the gravestones lack inscriptions. The spatial layout is blurred (especially in the older part of the cemetery).

The oldest inscribed gravestone is the cross on the grave of Styciakova (d. 1832), and from the same period also comes the stone cross on the grave of Mateusz de Janiszewski (d. 1843), with a rhymed inscription (still there in 1992).

According to Hauser, the most impressive gravestone is the stone monument topped by a large statue of the Immaculate (in a cast-iron enclosure), on the grave of Toni Rużycka and Eugenia Kucharska (d. 1881). The author of the long rhymed inscription is the husband of one of the deceased: "Where are these moments? How few they were / Before death took your dear life from me / Happiness caressed as if it had been dreamt / Faded away - disappeared - A longing remained / A longing for that which will not return / A longing for that which comforted me / When there were no people in my midst / To them I clung when my thoughts grieved / To you, wife, I clung then / To your heart that beat joyfully / And today, when sorrow has already turned into despair / A tear is only an angel of consolation".

Hauser's attention is also drawn to the imposing monument with a superimposed stone cross on the grave of Father Michał Dąbroś (died 1891) or the rock topped with an angel on the grave of Piotr Kamusiński, who was murdered in 1918. In the depth of the cemetery, however, there is a leaning monument topped with a broken column on the grave of Ludwik Maślakiewicz (died 1880) and a gravestone with an acroterion topped with a stone cross entwined with a wreath of roses on the grave of Jan Dąbrowski (died 1881).

Documentation has been made for the cemetery (54 cards), a cemetery charter, and photographic documentation (stored in the ICDNS). Information about the cemetery published (see bibliography).
