Biography:

Dorota Lubomirska (1787-1854), daughter of Jan Kazimierz Stecki, grand ensign of the Crown, and Teodora Walewska. In 1806, she married Józef Lubomirski, prince, secret councillor and senator. From this marriage their son Marceli Lubomirski was born.

She was known for her kindness, piety and charitable activities. She was described by her contemporaries as 'angelic sweetness', 'noble and noble', and 'known for her charity'.

She died on 23 May 1854 in Paris, at her home at 10 Place de la Madeleine, at the age of 67. Her death was reported by Joseph Maximilian Lubomirski and Joseph Henri Poncey.

Her funeral took place on 26 May 1854 at the Church de la Madeleine in Paris. She was initially buried in the Dubé crypt (temporary tomb). On 14 June 1854, an announcement in the press invited people to a memorial service for her soul, which was to be held on 2 June 1854 at the Church of the Assumption of Our Lady (Eglise de l'Assomption) in Paris.
