In the churchyard cemetery there is a grave of Polish legionaries. It is under the constant care of Ukrainian villagers, as there are no Poles here. The site is maintained in good condition. Residents have restored a slab with an inscription in Polish that was destroyed in the post-war period. The content of this inscription, made by the Ukrainian population, contained linguistic errors. The inscription read: "Pumiahum / of the fallen heroes of 1915-1916. / Young pokolehie". In 2004, scouts from the Zgierz Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) took care of the grave and carried out the necessary repair and conservation work. In 2005, the inscription plate was replaced, correcting errors. The current inscription reads: "To the ashes / of the fallen / heroes / 1915 - 1916 / Honour / Young Generation". A plaque with an inscription in Ukrainian was added to the back of the monument. In the following years, the cemetery was under the constant care of scouts. Since 2017, this care has been financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the Minister's Programme "Sites of National Remembrance Abroad".
