Tomb of Hipolit and Maria Jundziłł

A tomb on a roughly rectangular plan, covered with a slab, at the head of which is a cross on a three-stepped pedestal and base and a stone coffin on a rock-shaped pedestal. Latin cross on plinth, base with chamfered upper edges. First two steps of plinth with moulded upper edges. The third step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. On the front an engraved inscription(1). On the coffin pedestal on the right side a plaque with an engraved inscription(2). On the right side of the tomb a five-step staircase with handrail.

1. Ś. P. / HIPOLIT JUNDZIŁŁ / DOKTÓR MEDYCYNY / UR. 1846 R. UM. 6 KWIETNIA 1898R. / - //.
2. MARUSIA JUNDZIŁŁÓWNA / żyła tylko trzynaście miesięcy / umarła 14 stycznia roku 1889 / Bóg odebrał nam dziecię lecz / wiara została że w B[ogu] dla / Boga żyje nasza mała //.

Line 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of inscription(2) in italics. In Wacław Wejtka's card file, under the letter J, card number 229, dated 1936. According to the file, the location of Hipolit Jundzał's gravestone is sector "K, opposite the grave of Włady[...], next to Węcłów". In Wejtko's file, Maria Jundziłł's card is listed under the letter J, no. 243. The location states: "Next to the grave of Hippolyte".
