Jan Dominik Lopacinski (1708 - 1778), born in 1708. In Mstislav (now Belarus, Mogilev region), Lopacinski manor. He studied in Vilnius, Warsaw, St. Petersburg. At the Cross Seminary in 1732. V 8 he was ordained priest, appointed canon of Vilnius Cathedral and rector of the Vainiai Chapel. Bishop A. Tiškevičius appointed parish priest of Šiluva. Construction of a new brick church began, and an organ was installed under his care. He was a talented and energetic priest.
