Biography:

Julian Jotkiewicz (1882-1944), Polish architect, graduate of the Institute of Civil Engineers in St Petersburg (1912), member of the Warsaw Branch of the SARP. He worked at the Volyn Regional Directorate of Public Works in Lutsk, the Directorate of Public Works in Brest-on-Bug, and the Ministry of Religious Denominations and Public Education. He designed, among others, the Polesie Land Reclamation Office in Brześć nad Bugiem (1928) and a tenement house at 3 Bartoszewicza Street in Warsaw (1937-39). He took part in the Warsaw Uprising, during which he was killed. He was buried in the Powązki Military Cemetery in Warsaw.
