Michal Zagrodzki (1914-1944), born in Paris, son of Felix Zagrodzki and Suzanne Antoinette Renée Fernande Barniat, grandson of Armand Zagrodzki. Lieutenant of the 12th African Fighter Regiment (12e Régiment de Chasseurs d'Afrique), platoon commander in the 4th Hargous squadron. He was killed in combat on 10 August 1944 at Mézières-sur-Ponthouin, aboard a "Bordelais" tank. Mentioned on the memorial to the fallen there. Buried on 14 March 1949 after being transferred from Mézières-sur-Ballon; annual number 501.
