Tombstone of Antoni Gliński

Burial place marked by cross on two-stepped plinth and base, with band. Latin cross. Base with chamfered upper edges. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. On the front an engraved inscription (1). The second step of the plinth slightly tapering towards the top, with chamfered upper edges. On the front, engraved inscription (2).

On the first step of the pedestal on the left a plaque with an inscription in Polish and Lithuanian: "The restoration of the monument was financed by the Polish Embassy in Lithuania in cooperation with the social committee for the care of us Stara Rossa". According to Wacław Wejtka's file, the tombstone was created in 1901 (topped with a white marble cross). Following Teliński, he states that he was born in Szczorce in 1817, died in Vilnius, studied at the court of Adam Chreptowicz, was editor of the Vilnius Cultural News and a contributor to the Vilnius Courier. Mentioned in Polski Słownik Biograficzny, vol. VIII, pp. 58-59.
