On a high pedestal, a stepped flat panel, on the front of the pedestal a screen of a concave semi-circle with vertical fluting, on it a plastic cross whose base is supported by vertical volutes, on a high two-sided base topped with a faceted finial, a stele with a two-column panel topped with a marquetry, on the headrest there is a sarcophagus cover with a central urn covered with a draped shroud, on the pedestal on the sides there is a fence in the shape of rods topped with flames and lily flowers. Inscriptions on the stele in a panel in two columns: left (1) and right (2).

Henriette Wolowski, née Martin (born 2 March 1813 in Paris, died 24 January 1861 there), was a French annuitant, daughter of Jean Baptiste Martin, a retired battalion commander, and Marie Anne Héloïse Bertolino. Henriette was married to Kazimierz Wołowski, a Polish officer, whom she married on 30 January 1837 in the Paris parish of St-Germain-des-Prés. From their marriage the couple had a daughter, Nathalia, who married Emile Levasseur, an economist and administrator of the Collège de France. Henriette died at the age of 47 on 24 January 1861 in her flat at 24 rue Milan in Paris. Her death was reported by her husband and her brother-in-law Louis Wolowski, a member of the Institute and an officer of the Legion of Honour. She was buried on 25 January 1861 (AdP, AM Actes reconstitués de l'état civil de Paris, AD Paris 9e no. 127 of 1861).
