Carlo Evasio Soliva (also known as Charles Soliva, born 21 November 1791 in Casale-Monferrato, died 20 December 1853 in Paris), Italian composer, music educator, singing director and teacher. The son of Giovanni Soliva and Lucia Eim. In 1821, he arrived in Warsaw at the invitation of General Aleksander Rożniecki, president of the Directorate of Warsaw Government Theatres. He was given the post of director of singing at the Institute of Music and Declamation (Conservatory), where he was in charge of vocal training. Soliva's activities in Warsaw were linked to his conflict with Józef Elsner, which led to the division of the Conservatory into two independent schools: The Main School of Music, headed by Elsner, and the School of Drama and Singing, which Soliva ran as director until 1831. In 1844 he settled permanently in Paris, where he continued teaching singing and composing. From his marriage to Anna Maria Kralewska, daughter of a Warsaw tractarian and his pupil, he had four sons, Louis, Jean, Aurelio and a son who died in childhood. In his honour, Soliva composed the piece 'De Profundis'. He died in Paris at his home at quai de Béthune 12. The funeral took place on 22 December 1853 at the church of Saint-Louis, and his body was laid to rest in the Père-Lachaise cemetery in a temporary grave (gen. no. 120371). In 1858, the remains were transferred to grave no. 144259 (div. 75, row 8, grave 12). Sources: B.C. burial books; AdP AD Actes reconstitués de l'état civil de Paris; gw.geneanet.org.

Auréle Jacques Soliva (born c. 1845 in Siemone, canton of Thessin, Switzerland - died 1871 in Laval, France) - music composer, son of Charles Evasio Soliva (1791-1853), Italian composer and pedagogue, and Marie Kralewska, daughter of a Warsaw tracteur. He lived for only 26 years and never married. He resided in Laval, on the rue de l'Hôtel de Ville. Jacques Aurel's death was reported by the Laval city authorities and one of the witnesses was Daniel Frolowicz (69). His remains were originally buried in Laval, from where they were later transferred to the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris. The grave number in the Père Lachaise system is 344384 and the transfer ceremony took place on 16 July 1871.

Marie Bugnet (widow Douaneaux) (born c.1831 in Évian, Haute-Savoie - died 3 January 1891 in Le Raincy, Seine-Saint-Denis) - a servant, widow of an unnamed Douaneaux. She died at the age of 60 in a house belonging to the Soliva family at 8 avenue de la Fontaine in Le Raincy. Her remains were transferred from Le Raincy to the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris, where burial took place on 6 January 1891. The number of the grave in which she was laid to rest was 143518. The concession for the grave site had previously been purchased by the widow Soliva in 1858 (concession no. 621), covering an area of 2 square metres. The death was reported at the office in Le Raincy.
