On the pedestal is a stepped, thin, slightly sloping slab, at the headrest on a low base a tall, vertical stele with a triangular top, on the stele at the top above the inscriptions, carved in stone suspended on a sash tied in a bow, a wreath of rowan in which is inscribed an isosceles cross, on the front on the slab a trough-shaped jardiniere with curved sides. Inscriptions at the top of the stele (1) and below, in two columns: left (2) and right (3).

Berthe Léonie Thomas (born 7 February 1863 in Paris, died 27 September 1933), daughter of Pierre Auguste Alfred Thomas (died 1889) and Marie Augustine Meunier (died 1888). Her first husband was Pierre Henri Clément Barbu (died 30 November 1891). Her second husband was Adam Jan Piliński (born 26 September 1848 in Montmartre, Paris, died 12 November 1927), professor of mathematics, son of Andrzej Aleksander Piliński (born 1814 in Pulawy, died 1875) and Pierrette Chilot; married 1 October 1892 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris. Daughter by her second marriage: Marie Anna Emilie Pilińska (1893-1933), wife of Paul Georges Hava (1881-1933). Buried on 27 September 1933 (annual number 980), transferred from Meknes, Morocco.
